Chief Operating Officer
Denver McGarey’s experience in real estate began in 1972 when his newly-single mom became a real estate agent in Scottsdale, AZ. This gave Denver early and passionate lessons in the art of residential real estate. Born with a strong work ethic, he started a lawn-mowing venture with a high school friend, then property management with his brothers.
Following those experiences, at the young age of twenty, he rose to partner with one of the market’s most enviable residential developers, Dunlap & Magee. While at the firm, Denver handled all aspects of the company’s Black Mountain Foothills development, an exclusive luxury community located in Carefree, Arizona, from sales to specs, to design-builds.
Chris McGarey was raised by a single mom who led a thriving master-planned community development firm when she first met Denver. With sixteen years of commercial and residential real estate expertise under his belt, that meeting was the start of a new love, friendship, partnership, more children and their national commercial practice, The McGarey Group, all currently enjoying their twenty-fourth year of success.
Through The McGarey Group, Chris and Denver have been involved in the design, financing and creation of some of America’s most acclaimed mixed-use developments. They enjoy their vested place in the retail development industry, and offer McGarey Home as a natural progression of the family business and the realization of a plan long-in-the-making.
Bridget McGarey has been an active member of the family business for most of her life. After attending Auburn University, she formally joined the company in 2015.
Among her accomplishments, she has been instrumental in the successful lease-up of the $700M USC Village, on behalf of the University of Southern California.
Bridget has spent much of her life on Coronado, loves yoga, the ocean and The Del. She spends her free time exploring Southern California and is a fixture at Coronado’s best coffee spots.
Oliver McGarey grew up in an environment that has, at its core, the art and labor of real estate development, planning, marketing, sales and leasing.
After graduating from Washington State University, Oliver was recruited and found success in the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Management Training Program, before again being actively recruited to join the family business. He quickly became an integral part of corporate communication and production. His calm and intelligent approach assists in every aspect of the operation of the company.
Oliver has been instrumental in the planning and management of all that is McGarey Home and is quickly becoming a top producer for the team.
